ThePlanetologistTraineris available early on inDune: Awakening, located just aboveImperial Testing Station 10. You need to complete a contractinsidethe Imperial Testing Station to be able to access some of the Planetologist passives, which are excellent for crafting, as they boost mining yields with your Cutteray. You will be able to spec into as much of the Planetologist skill tree as you like once you’ve completed the trainer contract.

This is a key part of some Dune: Awakening builds, even including our pretty damage-heavy Bene Gesserit build. These early mining boosts are great for getting a lot of resources early on, and the buffs scale well into the endgame.

The Manifest is located towards the end of the dungeon. It’s the first real challenge in the game, butyou should be able to solo itif you aren’t running with some friends or a guild.

Once you’ve unlocked the Planetologist, you want to grabCutteray Mining, Deep Analysis, Overcharge, and Reroutingfor maximum efficiency in the early game. These passives will increase mining yields and power efficiency for your power packs.

A great early build is to pair one of the starting classes, like Mentat or Bene Gesserit, with the grappling hook from the Trooper Trainer and the resource passives from the Planetologist.
