Summary

While The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remaster will go down as 2025’s worst-kept secret,Persona 4’sremake isn’t far behind. In February, a singer known for their work in Persona 4hinted that they were working on something new, and a month later, a new web domain name, p4re.jp, was registered, sparking hopes that a reveal would come soon. The domain registration followed a similar pattern toPersona 3 Reload, which had the p3re.jp domain registered just months before its announcement.

Things then ramped up a notch late last month asnot one, but two voice actors from the original Persona 4 gamesconfirmed they wouldn’t be returning for the then-unannounced remake.
