Back in the day,Fallout 3was labelled ‘Oblivionwith guns’. That might seem a little wild out of context, but it was becauseBethesdagot rid of the more traditional RPG elements of the Fallout series, and made it play more like one of its own games instead - therefore, Oblivion with Guns. Even if, well… it actually isn’t.The games are actually quite different.

But what if wecouldplay Oblivion with guns, all fromthe comfort of Cyrodiil? Well, look no further than this glorious creation forOblivion Remasteredfrom Nexus Mods user CosmicBoogaloo:Glock - Functional Gun in Oblivion Remastered.

Existign the dungeons and making it to the outside of Cyrodiil in Oblivion Remastered.

Run Around Cyrodiil With A Gun With This Glock Mod For Oblivion Remastered

Yes, this mod does exactly what it says on the tin, giving you access to a fully functioning gun in Oblivion Remastered.

“Mehrunes Dagon owes me some money and I’m gonna get it one way or another,” says CosmicBoogaloo. True enough, I don’t think all the daedra in Oblivion are a match for the Hero of Kvatch with a gun. I mean, what can you really do against that? Parry the bullets? Fairly sure they could cut through shields, too.We might not even need Martinto end the Oblivion Crisis after all.

There are a few other downloads you’ll have to grab before you can get the Oblivion Remastered glock working, but they’re both linked on the mod page. Once you have the requirements installed, you can spawn the gun and its bullets through console commands. The commands you’ll need are:

There are a whole lot of console commands you can play around with, including one which is areference to that iconic ‘potion seller’ YouTube video.

So, there you have it - Cyrodiil is saved. We are supposed to be getting a Fallout remake or remaster at some point down the line, but with this mod installed, perhaps we don’t need it anymore.
