Summary

Who would win in a fight? This question has plagued almost every form of media entertainment known to man. Whether it’s Superman vs. Batman, Master Chief vs. Doom Slayer, or Terminator vs. Robocop, fans have always pitted their favourite characters against each other. Now, Elder Scrolls fans are discussing who would win betweenthe last two games' protagonists.

Skyrim’s Drogonborn isn’t merely a dragon-killing machine, but can also harness Shouts to control the battlefield. The Dragonborn also has a collection of powerful weapons to choose from. Meanwhile, The Hero of Kvatch fromOblivion Remasteredis known to bend magic and alchemy to their will, giving them godlike powers that they can customise based on their opponent. So, who’d win in a fight?

The Hero Of Kvatch Vs. The Dragonborn

Over on Reddit, someone created an animation of The Hero of Kvatch absolutely pummeling the Dragonborn. For Honor fans will recognise the animation, but this sparked a rather funny debate about which of the two would win. Of course, fans went beyond their traditional powers and made them both face off at a meta level.

“Neither can really hurt the other as both are exploiting all the bugs in their respective games to basically be immortal demi gods,” said one comment. Another predicted how the fight would go – “DB does 159432205 damage with a Chaos Fork named “Spoony.” HoK reflects 107% damage and leaps 7000 ft straight up into the air. DB shrugs because he has lost 1% of the health buff given by his single, right-hand ring. The death toll is now in the thousands. No one wins.”

That does kind of sound like what a fight between two Elder Scrolls protagonists would boil down to. Just two godly beings bending reality and physics around them. “Hero of Kvatch counters by saving and reloading through the wall and finding a door that leads to the end of the main quest,” added another.

However, things get much more bizarre with the next comment. “Hero of Kvatch spawns a million Skooma by phasing a single bottle into reality, slicing it as it drops, and everyone around the battle watches in horror as the skooma splits into millions. The Hero of Kvatch can now move at the speed of light.

“The Dragonborn continues to eat fifty cabbages to get his 1% health back, and uses Slow Time. They are now moving at the same pace again. Nothing has changed.” I swear that’s an episode of Dragon Ball Super.

It seems most fans think that if meta abilities are involved, it would be a tie. However, considering that the Oblivion Remastered hero can actually manipulate magic while the one from Skyrim can yell really loudly, I think it’s pretty obvious who would win in a canon fight.
