It was challenging enough to get a hold of a Switch 2 during the pre-order period, but now that the console has actually launched, it seems nearly impossible to buy one.Stock is low pretty much everywhere you look in both the UK and the US, leaving many wondering how long it’s going to take to even out and for the Switch 2 to become more readily available.

Nintendo Says It’ll Have A “Steady Supply” Of Switch 2 Units

It Just Might Take A Little Time

If it feels like the Switch 2 is going to be impossible to buy for some time, then I have some good news for you.As reported by VGC, Nintendo of America president Doug Bowser appeared on CBS Mornings yesterday to talk about the console and its unprecedented demand.During the show, Bowser talked about Nintendo’s supply demands for the Switch 2, noting that Nintendo has been “delighted” so far.

Bowser confirmed that there will be a “steady supply” of Nintendo Switch 2 units that will be coming in throughout the year, and that Nintendo believes it’s going to be able to “meet that demand” for the rest of the year. Bowser specifically mentions Father’s Day and Summer, so it seems like more Switch 2 units are going to be coming sooner rather than later.

CBS Mornings also asked Bowser about the console’s price tag, which led him to point out all of its features that Nintendo think make it a worthwhile purchase.

While it’s reasonable to assume that Bowser is talking about Switch 2 supply for the whole world,it’s worth noting that he is talking on CBS Mornings, so it could just be the United States that’s going to see a steady supply. We’ll have to see how stock goes over the next few months, but it sounds like Nintendo has it covered.
