Even though millions of you have managed to track one down, there are a lot more of you out there who either haven’t found or don’t want to find aNintendo Switch 2. If you’d still like yourOG Switchgames to look a little better but don’t want to wait in virtual queues, and then pay $500 if you’re lucky enough to reach the end of one, why not just grab a Switch OLED while they’re heavily discounted?
Nintendo released iterations of the original Switch throughout its eight-year run, capping things off with the Switch OLED. The OLED model of Nintendo’s last-gen console has a slightly bigger OLED screen, which makes its games look fantastic. The Switch 2 does not have an OLED screen, which means there’s an argument to be made that certain OG Switch games look better on the OLED than they do on the latest console.
Whether you think that or not, one thing is for certain - Switch games look considerably better on an OLED Switch than they do on the launch model. However, with Switch prices not going down despite the launch of the Switch 2 -they might even be going up in Canada- the price of the OLED Switch has held firm at $350. That’s unless you buy one from Woot.
