After plenty of teasers featuring Nod-Krai,Genshin Impacthas finally released the main cast of the region while revealing a bit of the main plot, just enough to keep everyone guessing, in the new trailer “Moonlit Ballad of the Night”.
Genshin is getting close to its fifth anniversary, and with it, the sixth main region of the game is coming to a close. While the player sentiment for Natlan might be mixed at best, the game has laidsome respectable groundwork leading into the next expansion, Nod-Krai, with constant teasers starting back in March 2025.
What started with the reveals of prominent factions that you’ll get to see in Nod-Krai has now finallymanifested into a full list of charactersthat Travelers are set to meet in the Version 6.0 update and beyond, with most of them likely being playable. These not only include a bunch of new faces, but also some characters that have beenteased since the start of the game.

You’ll Finally Get To Meet Hexenzirkel Members
The new Song of the Welkin Moon trailerstarts with a familiar voice of one of the Hexenzirkel members, and it then goes on to reveal some of the most important characters in the lore of Genshin Impact one after another. This starts out with Varka sitting on a cliff with a giant moon on the horizon.
As you learn a bit about the story of the three moons and the Primordial being who ruled Teyvat, there are consistent revelations of new characters, and here’s a full list of everyone shown:
Nod-Krai is the first area where a majority of the characters involved in the story aren’t from the region itself. With this trailer, it’s almost certain that the players will get two Hexenzirkel members, Fatui Harbingers, andVarka as playable characterswithin the same year.
you may expect to see the in-game models for a bunch of these characters with the release of the Version 6.0 update, which will likely happen on June 06, 2025, if Genshin follows its regular update cycle.
