It’s been a while since we’ve last hada proper gamebased on theMy Hero Academiafranchise. However, it appears that is about to change, and soon.
As first shared on Twitter by a fan and modder, My Hero Academia: All’s Justice,a third installment in the “One Justice” franchise, is reportedly set to be announced soon, with the game’s official logo and keyart being shared.
It’s unclear when exactly the game will be announced, but it’s worth noting thatAnime Expo is right around the corner (July 3-6), and that’s a prime place for an announcement. Just last year,Bleach: Rebirth of Souls was announced during the convention, so there is precedent.
Either way, should the game come out, and by all looks, it does appear real, it’ll be the first non-free-to-play My Hero Academia game since 2020.
My Hero Academia’s Video Game History Has Been Mixed At Best
For as popular as the MHA franchise is, with its manga, anime, plus spin-offs, its video game history can best be described asfine. Its first title, My Hero One’s Justice, was released in 2018, and, like other anime games, was a 3D arena fighter.
It was followed up by a sequel, One’s Justice 2, in 2020, that adapted more of the source material, plus offered more characters, alongwith an English dub. Beyond that,a free-to-play hybrid MOBA and battle royale was released in 2023 called My Hero Ultra Rumble.
Elsewhere, the franchise has been the subject of multiple collaborations, including as cosmetics in Fortnite, as well asOverwatch 2. None of the games have particularly stood out, but they’re not bad either. Perhaps All’s Justice and its potential to cover the best part of the manga will change that.
