12Fabricate - $11.08
Secret Lair X Sonic: Chasing Adventure
This Fabricate card features Miles “Tails” Prower fixing a biplane. It’s a cute illustration of his skills and shows him removing the tip of a plane wing with his tools. There’s also a shiny chaos emerald to be spotted in the tool box, a nice little nod to the collectible items.
We’re not entirely sure why he’s pulling off the wing when the card quote is about fixing a propeller, but sometimes it’s best not to ask these questions and instead just enjoy the cheeky grin of our favorite two-tailed flying fox.
11Air Shoes - $12.88
Secret Lair X Sonic: Turbo Gear
Air Shoes is a reference to the iconic sneakers Shadow wears in the Sonic The Hedgehog series. Also known as Jet Shoes or Hover Skates, these stylish kicks were designed by Maria Robotnik and created by her grandfather, Gerald Robotnik, to help Shadow keep pace with, and sometimes overtake, Sonic.
The combination of the iconic item and the usefulness of this equipment, which offers hexproof and haste for a low cost, makes this card a great option for Sonic fans.
10Miles “Tails” Prower - $13.28
Secret Lair X Sonic: Friends And Foes
If a tiny Tails on a biplane wasn’t enough for you, then this card has the solution: bigger Tails, filling the entire card. you may take to the skies with Tails' flying abilities and hopefully look as happy as he does.
The vibrant green grass and bright blue water in the background makes this card look like the location is as joyful as Tails himself. It’s an adorable dose of flying fun. Oh, and he alsomakes for a neat Commander deck.
9Amy Rose - $15.72
Amy Rose has a neat ability, being able to attach up to one Equipment upon attack, boost another creature’s attack for a turn, and attack with Haste. That’s a lot of utility in an adorable pink package which isstrong enough to command a deck.
Amy is shown here sprinting away from her enemies with a chaos emerald in hand and a smile on her face. As she should since this card shows her as able to take care of herself and defeat her foes.
8Deadly Dispute - $16.97
This Deadly Dispute card is a much cooler image of Sonic than his creature card. Instead of running along a road looking very mainstream, here he looks incredibly cool as he wields a blue chaos emerald.
The power lines coming from the emerald evoke a sense of chaos matching this card, which requires a sacrifice in order to gain two cards and a Treasure token. This version of Sonic will do whatever he must to stay on top.
7Super State - $18.76
Super State is another card which shows Sonic looking much cooler than usual. Here he is entering a super state, glowing as he stands in a heroic pose and turns into Super Sonic.
The aura surrounding him looks incredible. Also, this aura offers a huge buff to a creature, if you’re interested in the mechanics, of course, and not just in how very cool the artwork is.
6Treasure - $20.40
This treasure is one every Sonic fan has hunted for. A shiny golden ring against the instantly recognizable backdrop of Green Hill zone, a staple of the games in particular. The rings usually grant Sonic a chance to avoid death, and maybe gain another life, but here it gives you a lifeline of free mana.
This card is most notable for the fact the design instantly evokes a sense of familiarity and nostalgia. The checkered cliff faces and twisting paths evoke memories of all Green Hill experiences, regardless of the details. It’s unique yet all-encompassing and an excellent depiction of the franchise.
5Dr. Eggman - $21.62
Dr. Eggman may be a villain, but it doesn’t mean he isn’t incredibly cool looking on his card. Showing the scientist in his trademark vehicle, this card has his evil inventions visible behind him as he points menacingly forward.
Sonic isn’t complete without a foe to vanquish, and this card is a great piece of eye-catching artwork on a card that offers a villainous choice for your opponent. They must discard a card, or watch you place a Construct, Robot or Vehicle onto the battlefield. It’s an excellent combination of artwork and utility.
4Shadow The Hedgehog - $22.29
Shadow has some cool-sounding abilities, but what’s even cooler is how he looks. The iconic nemesis of Sonic, Shadow is resplendent here in his signature black and red as he zooms through the city at night. Clean lines and crisp shadows show Shadow at his best.
The nighttime background and tall buildings are also a direct contrast to Sonic’s creature card, which shows him in the same pose during the day, surrounded by open space.
3Knuckles The Echidna - $23.22
Knuckles is often overlooked, but here he gets time to shine with a unique cardyou can use in a Commander deck with a difference. As well as offering a unique win condition and some neat abilities, he also looks awesome clambering up a rock face and reaching for a gemstone.
Enjoy the vibes of this one as Knuckles shows that he’s different but useful and unique, in both his artwork and his card abilities. An excellent matchup for those who want to play a little differently.
