Warhammer’s Age of Sigmar takes place after the destruction of The Old World, the setting for Warhammer Fantasy. From the ashes of this apocalypse emerged Eight Mortal Realms, each one corresponding to the Eight Winds of Magic and all beingf magical domains. In these worlds, heroes, gods and monsters fight for supremacy.
As you may expect, there are a number of different armies in Age of Sigmar and many different types of creatures, both humanoid and monster. Many of the armies have figureheads, huge models which make miniature seem like the wrong word for them. These highly detailed models are often around four times the size of regular armies making them incredible centrepieces for play or display.
