The officialPlayStationwebsite has accidentally leaked everything that’s coming toMonster Hunter Wilds' Title Update 2 nearly a week beforeCapcom’s upcoming reveal.
Even thoughMonster Hunter Wilds is in a surprisingly rough spot when it comes to PC players, it’s still got a fairlyhealthy playerbase that’s waiting to see what’s next for the game. Luckily, it’s not going to be that long until Capcom shares everything that’s coming in Title Update 2.
Well, that was the case up until an hour ago.Capcom previously confirmed that its upcoming Capcom Showcase on June 26would include a look at Monster Hunter Wilds, but it seems that PlayStation has jumped the gun and accidentallyrevealed all of the big announcements nearly a week in advance.
Everything That’s Coming To Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 2
Thanks For The Early Info, PlayStation
Over on the GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit, Redditor DemonLordDiablos revealed that PlayStation has shared everything that’s coming to Monster Hunter Wilds in Title Update 2 nearly a whole week in advance. It was supposed to be at the Capcom Showcase, but now we know everything, including a release date of June 30.
The post on the game’s page reveals that two fan-favourite monsters are returning, which includes Lagiacrus and one other that isn’t shown on the page. Although it’s not revealed, datamines suggest that it could very well be Seregios, which wouldn’t come as a surprise considering how long fans have guessed both are coming.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, no new monsters are confirmed to be coming in Title Update 2 - it’s just returning ones right now.
That’s not all when it comes to monsters, though, as Arch-Tempered Uth Duna is also mentioned by the page to be an upcoming Event Quest. Layered Weapons have also been revealed, which will let you “take your fashion hunting game even further” by letting you customise weapons without changing their stats.
The final part of the page focuses on “additional content” that will be announced at the Showcase, such as the Doshaguma Mask. All in all, it seems like a fairly beefy update, although whether it’ll be enough to calm Monster Hunter fans down a bit is something we’ll have to wait and see.
My bet is no,unless the Title Update comes with some optimisation fixes on PC.
