Capcomhas announcedMonster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted ReflectionforNintendo Switch 2. Kicking off the July 31 Nintendo Partner Direct with a bang, the third game in the Stories subseries will continue the tradition of JRPG-style spinoffs with an impressive graphical glow-up.

While we don’t know precisely when Monster Hunter Stories 3 will launch, we do know it’s aiming for early 2026. Check out the reveal trailer below!
The trailer sets the tone, illustrating the effects of an ongoing war. An egg, soon to hatch, may hold the key to peace. Or maybe it won’t, but it’ll surely lead to cuteness. The protagonist is a Rathalos Rider, and an event will soon occur which is called the Encroachment. WIth a capital “e”, so it’s definitely bad news.
