There are some slight issues with this server containing a currency that you’re able to purchase and use for crates that contain some busted tools and items, but it can also be earned in-game decently through progression and participation in events. While it may still be in beta, Minebox shows so much promise and charm in every single block that we just couldn’t not include it on this list.

The staff team is a highlight of Project Eden as they are always working hard to keep the server safe while creating some amazing events for players to enjoy. There are manyanti-griefingprotection measures, but even if things do slip through, they have been known to take action and help you restore everything you lost. Especially to earn some of the incredibly well-designed cosmetics and to participate in the fun, limited-time events and modes.
At first glance, you may think that CubeCraft is pay-to-win because of its store containing purchasable ranks, but these are purely cosmetic. Nothing that can be purchased with real money can give players an edge. This is the best way to do monetization for a server, as we all understand that they do need money to keep it online, and with how positively it is implemented, CubeCraft is able to host some fantastic events for its players.

There are some items, such as crate keys and ranks, that can be purchased on the ExeosCraft store, but even on this page, they are clear in saying that everything that can be purchased can be earned in-game. With how small and welcoming the server is to everyone with such a nice community, it’s nice to have a safe space online in Minecraft to be yourself, and for that, we appreciate this server so much.

From the moment you start playing on Verdux, the server’s main focus is very clear. They want to put their players first and give every single one of them a place to enjoy the game. Verdux is an SMP and Creative server that has plenty of unique features, but the community is the biggest part of what makes it so good. This server is home to one of the most tightly knitted, welcoming communities that, despite its size, is an SMP like no other.
While Verdux does have some paid elements, they are all entirely cosmetic. When someone wants to purchase a key for a crate, Verdux does something different. You are not just buying a key to give to yourself, but instead a key booster that gives every player online a key. This goes to show how community-focused the server is, and it’s great that the staff are all crystal clear on how they only monetize the server to upkeep it each month.

It’s incredible how much work has gone into it since 2013, and it deserves more recognition.
Three of the classes are locked behind a paywall, but these are just reskins of others, and this carries into all the shop items as well. Not a single purchasable thing affects gameplay, and so everyone can enjoy the amazing content Wynncraft has for free, and those who want to help support the server get some neat cosmetics as thanks.

Any classic Minecraft player from 2013 onwards should remember this gem of a server, and it is still going strong. The Hive is a mini-game-focused server that is Mojang-approved, with it even being the top server on their Featured Servers page, and has always been known as one of the most fun servers around. It is one of the largest servers of all time, and even holds the record for the most concurrent players on a server for Bedrock Edition.
Sad news came in 2021 as they announced that the Java server would shut down, but this did lead to the server having more resources than ever to make the Bedrock one really something special. With all the classic games, such as Bedwars and Capture the Flag, alongside some refreshing ones such as Block Drop and The Bridge, there are zero limits to what you can do. There is something for everyone to enjoy on The Hive.
