Marvel Rivalshas a bit of a reputation when it comes to fan service, and when you seecertain skins for characters like Emma Frost, Psylocke, and Magik, you begin to see that it’s a reputation that is fully deserved. With summer now in full swing, we’ve started to seesome seasonal costumes hit the storefront, with Squirrel Girl, Jeff, and Rocket all getting summer fits so far.
Of course, with a game as unabashedly raunchy as Marvel Rivals, it was extremely likely that NetEase would give a selection of heroes some swimsuits later down the line, as was suggested by the return of the Marvel’s Swimsuit Edition comic book series later this month. In fact, it was recently revealed that the next issue in the series will feature a showcase of summer swimsuits that will be coming to Marvel Rivals in the near future.
Marvel Rivals First Summer Swimsuit Skins Revealed
Marvel Rivals executive producer Danny Koowas the first official person to show off the swimsuit designs, revealing that Punisher, Loki, Thor, Luna Snow, and Psylocke will all be getting skins in the near future. Unsurprisingly, they’re all a bit risque, but there is at least some representation out there for people disappointed that they haven’t been able to thirst over the men just yet.
Thor’s swimsuit is fairly standard, as he’s sporting some skin-tight trunks, but both Loki and Punisher have decided to leave extremely little to the imagination, wearing the tightest speedos I’ve ever seen on a man. Of course, Punisher has a large skull covering up the front of his speedo, which is actuallya fun reference to his swimsuit featured in the 1993 Marvel’s Swimsuit Edition comic.
Luna Snow and Psylocke’s swimsuits are unsurprisingly raunchy too, as both are sporting swimsuits riding so high they may as well be flossing with them. They all look pretty neat, though not much information was given on whether these will be Legendary skins, or when exactly they’ll be dropping. We also don’t know whether these will be the only characters that will get swimsuit skins, so there’s the possibilitywe’ll get to see The Thing in a thong.
