Marvel Rivalshas quite a lot of characters capable of stringing you up in a matter of seconds if you’re caught lacking, but one of the most brutal is Black Panther. Not only can he delete you in less than a second if he pulls off his combo correctly, but he can also dash across the entire battlefield in the blink of an eye, making him extremely difficult to punish even if he does mess up.
His combo has been described as “unreactable” for quite a while, as every couple of weeks, a clip of someone being deleted will crop up on social media and go semi-viral, but it seems as though a lot of people have been getting sick of him recently. It could be due to how other dive characters are now less viable due to nerfs,or that the declining player numbersmean there are just more good Black Panther players per match, but anti-BP social media posts are on the rise.

Most of these posts are essentially taking issues with the claims by content creators and Black Panther players that the character isn’t good,such as Reddit user Ok_Collection_6020, saying it’s the “biggest lie [they’ve] ever heard”. They go on to point out all the posts that have been complaining about Black Panther being “a literal blur on their screen”, and that even trying to counter him can be useless.
In a similar vein,a Reddit user called Plus_Economic6645doubts that Black Panther is bad when they’re in “50% of my celestial games” and banned in the other half. Most people in the replies to Reddit post admit that Black Panther is just deeply annoying to play against, and that his ability to stomp matches at low levels means he’s not even difficult to use, as is usually claimed.
Personally, I think the guy is an absolute menace, and, as a support enjoyer, a good Black Panther is absolutely terrifying when playing as the likes of Mantis and Luna Snow. Even playing as his supposed counters, like Cloak & Dagger, Rocket Raccoon and Ultron, somehow the guy can find a way to do a triple spin from across the other side of the map and decimate you when you’re not looking for a nanosecond. He’s finally getting some much-deserved flak, and I’m here for it.
