Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydraisn’t going to hitits late 2025 release window. Now, the game has been delayed and will launch in early 2026.
At the very least, developer Skydance says that there should be more to share about the game soon. That likely means that it will make a showing over the summer showcases, finally giving us a better look at this highly anticipated game.

In a statement, Skydance explains the reason for the delay.
“Taking this additional time will allow us to add more polish, and make sure we give you the best possible experience, and one that lives up to our vision,” the statement reads. “We have some exciting things in store and look forward to sharing more soon!”
As it stands, we have seen very little of the game, so this delay doesn’t come as much of a surprise.We’ve seen some cinematics, setting up the setting and the story, but outside of that, we’re still waiting to see how it will play.
Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra attracted a lot of attentionas soon as it was revealed, with its unique premise and interesting set of characters thrown together. It will see Captain America and Black Panther working together, seemingly reluctantly, as they fight against Hydra during World War II.
The game is written and directed by Amy Henning, who is best known for being the creative director and writer of the first threeUnchartedgames. Many are excited to see what she’s cooked up for her first outing with theMarvelcharacters, especially since the idea of more single-player action games in this universe feels like a no-brainer.
Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra has no confirmed platforms right now, but is expected on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
