Over the last few days, reports have begun to appear on social media of a new glitch in Mario Kart World. Videos of the bug appear to show players in first place being hunted by the deadly Blue Shell, only for it to zip past them, avoiding wreaking chaos.
There have been at least two instances of this being showcased on Reddit, one onAirship Fortressandanother involving a race between two courses, with many more players in the comments claiming that it has also happened to them. In both cases, the Shell can be seen on the mini-map continuing around the track, as if it’s a racer with a mind of its own.
