When you first start playingMage Arena, you might think that the game is fairly simple since you just speak your spells and attack opponents. However, there’s a lot more depth to the game, and one perfect example of this depth is the different types of soups you can make.
There are a total of five basic items you can use outside of your spells and the torch, and these items can also be converted into a soup. Once crafted, you can drink these soups to get various temporary benefits.
Mage Arena is available in Early Access, and the contents of this article are subject to change.
How To Make Soup In Mage Arena
Once you get together with your friends or join a random game of Mage Arena, you’ll spawn in your base tower, which is essentially a big room with a door and a few items in it. In this room, you’ll see a giant figure sitting near a tree bark. When you get close to this figure, it’ll give you an option to talk to it.
However, if you have any of the five basic items in your hand, it’ll instead give you an option to make soup. If you interact with this option, it’llconsume the item and you can claim the soup from the Soup Manafter a few seconds. Once claimed, it gets added to your inventory and each soup can only be consumed once.
Every Soup And What It Does
Here are the soups you can make in Mage Arena and how they affect your characters:
Effect
Rock Soup
Creating a soup with a rock will make your voice much louder. After drinking this soup, players can hear you throughout the map.
Log Soup
Making a soup with the log item will give an extra bar to your HP. While this HP isn’t temporary, it also can’t be regenerated. Once you take damage,it’ll go back down permanently.
Frog Soup
This is likely the least useful soup in the game as it just brings out your tongue at random times and hits an enemy with it. Thismakes the enemy levitate for just a bit.
Crystal Soup
Drinking this soup willincrease your movement speedfor a decent amount of time.
