Summary
Earlier this year, it was revealed thatLies of Pisgetting some DLC at some point this summer- called Lies of P: Overture - which will expand and build upon one of the best games to launch in 2023. It will include a bunch of challenging bosses, new weaponry, and more interesting people to meet. Personally, I’m itching to jump back into Krat.
Thankfully, we’ll be playing the DLC a lot sooner than we all expected, as developer Neowiz has revealed exactly when that will happen during today’s Summer Game Fest showcase. Rather than surprising everyone with a release date, Neowiz shadow dropped Lies of P: Overture during the show, meaning you’re able to go play the game right this second.
Lies of P: Overture DLC Is Yet Another Massive Shadow Drop
Alongside the release date drop, we also got a new trailer, showcasing a few more bits of the DLC and showing off some more of the bosses that will likely have us throwing our controllers across the room. I can already tell the blue-skinned lady will have we praying for death.
Of course, the arrival of Lies of P: Overture also brings along with itthe arrival of difficulty options for the base game. Neowiz revealed last month that it’s sticking difficulty options into the game to try and have it reach a wider audience, with both easy and hard modes being added. It’s something that hasn’t gone down too well with Lies of P fans, though we’ll have to see how these modes are implemented when we dive in later today.
