Quick Links
Like most multiplayer shooters,Killing Floor 3has a variety of character classes for you to choose from, referred to as Specialists. While many players will look to fill their preferred roles like tank and support, others will look for a well-rounded option that allows for an easy introduction to the experience. This is where Commando comes in.
Commando is Killing Floor 3’s default class, equipping you with the standard assault rifle, pistol, and grenade setup you would expect from the genre. Although it’s not the most adventurous choice, you can still be a valuable asset to your multiplayer party. Here’s the best way to spec out the Commando.

Best Commando Weapons
Your X295 Wraith is thankfully arelatively solid starter weapon, offering decent ammo capacity and damage output. This isn’t to say it can’t be improved, and it’s agood idea to create a customized versionof the gun.Equip it with your preferred mods, and it will serve as a(relatively) inexpensive upgrade optionin the midgame.
We recommend prioritizing mods like armor-piercing rounds and the fast action receiver. Doing so will increase damage, penetration power, and fire rate.
Best Late Game Weapons
Both the SCAR EIR and Knightsbridge aregood late-game weapon choices. TheSCARtechnicallydoes more damage, but theKnightsbridgeisan LMG with significantly more ammunition, so it’s dealer’s choice as to which you prefer.
You may want togo with the SCAR in multiplayer sessions, given that your team will expect you tokill enemies as quickly as possibleand can support you with additional ammo, while the Knightsbridge would bepreferable during solo playto ensure you don’t run out of ammunition.
As far as mods are concerned, you’ll want to grab armor-piercing rounds for the SCAR (increased damage), and powered box mag for the Knightsbridge (quicker reloads).
