If you’re hankering formore time with Indiana Jonesvia last year’sIndiana Jones and the Great Circle, then there’s good news. As revealed on Sunday during the Xbox Games Showcase, the first story expansion for the Great Circle will be released later this year.
Titled The Order of Giants, the DLC will take place during the main game,according to a post on Xbox Wire, and it’ll feature a new location, plus more puzzles and enemies to take on. What’s more, it’ll be out on September 4, which isn’t too far from now, all things considered.
The Order Of Giants Will Feel Somewhat Familiar If You Played The Great Circle
When the DLC does release, it’ll take players and Indy to Rome, where you’ll uncover the secrets of the Nephilim Order. Of course, the Nephilim Order is the same group that was introduced during the main story.
Its tagline is as follows:
TheIndiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of GiantsDLC kicks off when Indy meets Father Ricci, a young priest in desperate need of assistance tracking down a mysterious artifact. What starts as a typical treasure hunt soon becomes a perilous expedition as Indiana uncovers the history of the Nephilim order.
Per the Xbox Wire post, Indy will be able to explore crypts beneath Rome, travel by boat along the River Tiber and navigate the sewers of Cloaca Maxima. There’s also some secret gladiator games via Emperor Nero that players will get a chance to participate in.
As with most DLC, it’ll be available to those who have the Premium or Collector’s Editions of the game, along with anyone who has the Premium upgrade pack, free of charge. More information on purchase details for those not in that boat will be revealed down the line.
The Order of Giants was one of several reveals at Sunday’s event, as thelong-awaited releases of Final Fantasy were also announced, as was theconfirmation of Persona 4 Remake, which is titled Persona 4 Revival.
