You’ll be able to amass Timies in No Sleep for Kaname Date, though, positive or negative changes to your time limit and how much of that time any given action is going to consume. What Are Timies?
You’re introduced to Timies pretty early on in No Sleep for Kaname Date, during yourfirst Somnium investigationwhen Date Psyncs with whoever or whatever is in the mysterious pod. Here, you’ll need to explore the dreams of this mystery being trying to deduce who they might be, and you’ll notice thateverything you interact with drains some of your timerin the upper-right corner.
Whether it’s essential to the puzzle or not,every action or dialogue sequence consumes time, but you’ll be able to see just howmuchtime you’ll lose for this decision with thetimer iconon every choice when the game asks you to make one. You’ll see the choice, as well as"minus (number)“on every decision you’ll make in the game.
As soon as you begin making decisions in the Somnium, you’ll be introduced to Timies, which are thenumber or fraction also shown on each decisionwhen Aiba is made to make a choice. These are tools tohelp decrease how much time each decision costsfrom your total exploration time.

How Do Timies Influence Time Depletion?
As mentioned, you can use Timies to alter how much time a decision takes off your timer, but Timies can take on plenty of different forms throughout the game. You’ll see them offer changes based on themath symbol paired with the number.
This means you’ll see things like:
While Timies start off reliably helpful, you’ll find thatdecisions consume more time as you progress the game. While seeing an =64 Timie is jarring at first, when you need to make a decision that naturally takes 120 seconds off the timer, the =64 will almost half the amount of time you’re spending on each decision inNo Sleep for Kaname Date.
That said, watch that you don’t use these kinds of Timies on smaller decisions. The =64 will also make a decision that naturally takes five seconds off your timer take the full, promised 64 seconds, so always double-check which Timie you’re selecting.
