The Slormanceris a deep ARPG with infinite build possibilities and tons of loot. As you make your way through the games different progression systems, you’ll be stacking power on top of power, creating exponential synergies to blow through enemies.
The Slormancer is the ultimate number go up game, but sifting through all the loot you acquire can be tiring. Luckily, the game has a fairly intuitive Loot Filter that clears out unwanted items and lets you focus on slicing through as many undead as you’re able to get your grubby hands on. Below, we’ll take a look at everything you need to know about the game’s Loot Filter, including how to unlock and use it.
How To Unlock The Loot Filter
Unlike most ARPGs, the Loot Filter in The Slormancer isnot unlocked by default. Instead, you’ll gain access to this feature once youunlock the Blacksmith, Friedrich. You canrescue this NPCby closing a specific Breach inThe Guard Roommission of thePrison.
Once the Blacksmith is unlocked, you’ll have access to the Loot Filter. Luckily, you’ll be able toadjust your Loot Filter at any time, not just when talking to Friedrich in town.
How To Use The Loot Filter
The Loot Filter lets youhide unwanted itemsby selecting various categories. The first category to filter out is the rarity of the item, ranging fromNormal(grey),Magic(green),Rare(blue),Epic(yellow), andLegendary(orange) items.
Within each rarity category, you may then choose tounhide certain items based on a few different parameters, including if the item has aPure stat, isHighlighted, or isabove a certain Reinforcement level.
Anything that is hidden by the Loot Filter will beautomatically converted into either Fragments or Goldusat 75 percent of their normal value. This means that no piece of gear that drops ever goes to waste.
Anything that isn’t hidden by the Loot Filter will appear on the ground like normal.
How To Highlight Stats
To Highlight a stat so that it is not otherwise hidden by your Loot Filter, simplyopen up your character pageand scroll through yourlist of stats using the tabs on the left side of the screen. Then, justclick on the desired stat, which will put asmall orange marknext to the stat, and any item that has that stat will now beHighlighted in your inventory or on the groundwhen it drops.
Highlighted stats will haveyellow texton an item, letting you quickly see at a glance if the item has the stats you need.
What Are Pure Stats?
Pure Stats are a special type of roll that a piece of gear may have. These stats, denoted by their blue text, are unique in that theyroll above the normal range for that stat.
For example, a normal pair of gloves with the Raw Damage stat will roll within the ranges of 158 to 226 (depending on the gear’s level). However, if that stat were Pure, it could roll above 226, to a certain cap.
If a Pure Stat rolls at itsabsolute maximum, it is considered aPerfect Statinstead.
Essentially, Pure Stats are justhigher rolls of normal stats, giving you an extra bonus on your gear. However, keep in mind thatPure Stats can’t be added to gear at the Forge, andrerolling a Pure Stat will turn it into a normal stat.
