There are a ton of different items, resources, and weapons inDune: Awakening. As you play, you’re undoubtedly going to have duplicates of some items and spend hours hunting for others. That’s where the Exchange comes in for Dune: Awakening.
The Exchange, or the CHOAM Exchange, works like an open marketplace for all players to buy and sell from one another. Here, you can exchange Solari for a plethora of different items, or even make a pretty penny yourself with extra resources you don’t need. But, how does it work? Here’s everything you need to know to use the Exchange in Dune: Awakening.
What Is The Exchange?
As mentioned, the Exchange is a large virtual marketplacefound on Arrakis. At the Exchange, youcan buy and sell goods with other players, as opposed to just vendors.
The Exchange is great formaking extra Solari, especially if you have duplicates of a resource.
However, in order to start using the Exchange, you’ll have to reach a certain point in your game first.
Where Is The Exchange?
In Dune: Awakening, there are two locationswhere you can find the Exchange.
To reach these places, you’ll have tohire an Ornithopter Pilot, and pay 2,500 Solari.
Because you’ll have to spend money to reach Arrakeen and Harko Village, ensure you have plenty of great goods to sellon the Exchange before traveling.
Additionally,if you have your own Ornithopter, you can fly yourselfto these locations. However, Ornithopters are quite costly to fabricate, so it’ll likely take some time on Arrakis before you’re ready to fly yourself there.
Arrakeen Exchange Location
On Arrakeen, the Exchange is conveniently located near the entrance. Simply head up the stairs and hook a left.
You’ll seethe symbol of the CHOAM Exchangeoutside the door.
Harko Village Exchange Location
In Harko Village, the Exchange can be found toward the back of the map. Head down the center roadway toward the back of the village.
Look for the CHOAM Exchange Symbolin the center of the square.
