TheBlood Purification Stationis one of the most important early game crafting stations inDune: Awakening. It allows you to turn harvested blood into water, which is one of the hardest resources to manage early on. You’ll need water to prevent dehydration, which will drastically reduce the size of your health bar.
The Blood Purifier Station can be unlocked early on via the research menu. You’ll also need Blood Packs and a Literjon to properly collect and store your water.
How To Use The Blood Purifier
First, you need to use aBlood Extractorto remove blood from fallen enemies. Blood is stored inBlood Sacks.
You place the blood into theBlood Purifierand wait for it to turn into water.
you may drink directly from the Blood Purifier or use aLiterjonto store your water, so that you can drink it later.
We recommend that you use several Blood Purifiers early on if you have the materials, as the blood takes a long time to process.
To maximize how much water you’re getting from blood, you can also wear aStillsuit.You can read more about being efficient withyour water consumption here.
With a stillsuit, a Blood Purifier (with an Extractor and Blood Sacks), as well as a Dew Harvester (which you unlock in the second zone), you will be able to store a lot of water.
As you progress further into the game, you’ll require more and more water production. An endgame Ornithopter requires 850,000ml of water. That’s a lot of water.
