Like Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree DLC before it,Lies Of P: Overturefeatures a largely isolated campaign with its own locales, bosses, and narrative. However, it is also the same in that it requires the player to jump through a few hoops and will necessitate the completion of a sizable portion of the base game.

How Do I Access The Lies Of P: Overture Content?
If you have already completedthe ninth chapterof The Lies Of P, and have returned to the Hotel Krat, then you will find that you have an item called theStar’s Chrysalisin your inventory. It is found in the Functional Items tab. With the chrysalis in hand, interact with a Stargazer and teleport to the “Path of the Pilgrim” Stargazer. The Path of the Pilgrim is the first Stargazer listedin chapter five.
Once you do so, a small cutscene will play. When you resume control of P, there will be a glowing path. Follow that path toanother Stargazer.This Stargazer will act as a portalto the DLC content. Once you interact with it, you will be transported to the outskirts of the Krat Zoo. Congratulations, you can now begin the Overture content.
Don’t worry about being trapped in the new area. you’re able to freely move between the Overture world and the base version of Lies Of P from any Stargazer.
How Do I Access The Lies Of P: Overture Content In New Game Plus?
While initially players who wanted to access the Overture content in a New Game plus run of Lies Of P had to follow all the same steps as everyone else,with patch 0.9, the process was madefareasier. Now you can unlock the Overture content the moment you reach the Path of the Pilgrim in the fifth chapter of the game!
How Long Does It Take To Access The Lies Of P: Overture Content From A New Save?
Unfortunately, the ninth chapter requirement means that you will need to complete the majority of the base game. There aretwelve bossesyou will need to defeat before you are able to start the Overture content, and a half-dozen optional bosses you can choose to tangle with along the way. Lies Of P can be completed ina little under 30 hours or so. I’d say you should be able toaccess the Overture content in around 20ish hours.
However, if you are super-eager to reach the new scenario, youcanexpedite the process.Lies of P had new difficulty settings patched in, so you can scale the difficulty downward fairly dramatically. Additionally, if yousummon the specterduring each boss battle, that will further improve your ability to move through each boss encounter quicker. This isn’t the best way to play Lies Of P, but it is definitely thequickestway.
