You’ve been dropped on a planet no sentient life has ever stood on. You just got laid off from your job. Your robot companion talks so damn much. All of your gear was lost in the transit process from earth. But hey, at least you have a whole bunch of outfits to wear. If you’re going to struggle to survive, at least you’ll struggle in style.

InRevenge of the Savage Planet, exploring in a great outfit is just as important, if not moreso, than actually living and getting your gear back. No matter how many times you die, you’ll just come back anyway. So let’s get to finding every outfit there is, and chart these uncharted worlds in fashion.

How Do Outfits Work?

In Revenge of the Savage Planet. Outfits are made up of four pieces -Helmet, Body, Gloves, and Boots. There are also multiple sets of full outfits comprised of these four pieces. However, you are also free to mix-and-match as many pieces as you want.

Each piece can also be coloured separately, though this is saved by category, rather than individual piece. If you change the colour of a helmet, this will change the colour of every helmet. However, each piece can still be coloured independently, letting you make an outfit with wonderfully harmonious colours, or technicolour vomit. To each their own.

How To Unlock New Outfit Colours

Unlocking new outfit pieces is a fairly simple, if lengthy, process. You find Supply Crates around the world and open them up, granting a new piece for you to wear. Getting brand-new colours is a completely different process, however. To do so, you mustcapture creatures. All of them.

Every creature that you can capture, excluding those that unlock new upgrades, willgrant a new colour scheme you can use on your outfits.Every single one comes with a unique colour scheme, too, promoting you to capture each and every one of them.

There is one colour, gold, that is insteadunlocked by completing the D.I.A.P.E.R. Program DLC.

Once a creature is captured, you just have toresearch them back at the Habitat computerto unlock the colour scheme. This is a one-and-done process, meaning once you’ve unlocked a colour, you have it permanently. It can be added and removed to a piece of clothing as much as you want. Even better, despite outfit pieces being dyed separately, the colours are universal. Once it is unlocked, it is available for every outfit piece.

Every Outfit And How It Is Unlocked

By default, there are 14 outfits in the game. Five of them are available by default, while the remaining nine must be acquired by collecting from Supply Crates across the four major planets of the game. There is only the default colour scheme available at the beginning. All others must be unlocked by capturing creatures.
