With any FromSoftware game, they are known for being difficult, for having complex and deep lore, and a diverse combat system that allows great build variety. But really, the actual endgame is the fashion. You can spend much more time building the idealoutfitversus a an efficient loadout.
WhileElden Ring Nightreigndoes sadly remove individual armour pieces for you to customise each of the Nightfarers with, you do still gain access to bespoke outfits unique to each character. There is a decent variety of outfits to choose from, though they are not all available from the beginning. Here is how to find and unlock each and every one of them.
How To Unlock Every Outfit
In Nightreign, every character begins in their default outfit, which are already quite stylish. Of course, a change of pace is always welcome, though it’s not quite that easy.you’re able to’t change your outfit from the beginning of the game, even if you have the Murk to buy them.
You have tounlock the Mirrorfirst. This is straightforward in terms of process, though may be a bit harder than you’d think. To unlock the Mirror, you have to defeat two different Nightlords. Since you have to defeat Gladius to unlock all the others, you just have to defeat any of the other six that are available afterwards to unlock it. You can choose any that you want, but we would recommend Gaping Jaw, Sentient Pest, or Augur as the easiest to defeat next.
Once the mirror is unlocked, the Dawn and Darkness outfits will be available for purchase, though there are three more outfits for each Nightfarer you can unlock. The first is their Remembrance outfit, which is unlocked by completing every Remembrance for the Nightfarer in question. The final two are outfits from iconic Dark Souls characters. These are a bit harder to come across, requiring you todefeat the final boss of the game. And yes, you still have to buy them afterwards.
Thankfully, you only have to beat them oncefor the outfits to become available for every character, not just the one you beat the boss with.
Every Outfit For Each Nightfarer
At present, there are six outfits available to each Nightfarer, though it is entirely possible this might expand with later updates and DLC. For now, here is how to unlock all of them. With the exclusion of the Dark Souls outfits, the requirements for an outfit must be met for each Nightfarer individually.
Wylder
Wylder’s six outfits remain mostly the same, with mainly his helmet and colour scheme changing.
7,500 Murk
Defeat Heolstor, The Night Lord.
For his Dark Souls outfits, he gets Abysswalker and Lion Knight. The Abysswalker is the outfit of Artoriasfrom the Artorias of the Abyss DLC fromthe original Dark Souls. With Wylder also using Greatswords, it’s a good fit.
Lion Knight comes fromLion Knight Albert from Dark Souls 3. A more obscure individual by all means, but still a very cool outfit.
Guardian
Guardian gets more dramatic changes with his outfits, with the entire shape of his avian head changing to match them.
For his Dark Souls outfits, his first is the Sunlight Knight. This one needs little introduction, beingthe famed Solaire of Dark Souls 1. Your feathered head may be hidden, but at least you get some armour on your wings.
The second is Wayfarer, which comes fromAlva the Wayfarer. While he does not actually appear inDark Souls 2,his armour can be acquired, and a character who drops the very same armour appears in Dark Souls 3.
Ironeye
Ironeye’s outfits keep to a similar fashion across them all, though his Dawn and Darkness have both shorter and longer garb respectively.
His Dark Souls outfits are a bit more obscure. The Ringfinger outfit is based on theRingfinger, Leonhardfrom Dark Souls 3. He teaches you about invasions, making this a suitable outfit for the assassin Ironeye.
His second outfit is Sellsword, which isoriginally from Dark Souls 2,though it did not get its more iconic Drang name until Dark Souls 3. Once again, a suitable set for an assassin.
Recluse
Recluse’s outfits offer quite a bit of variety, teetering the line between holy maiden and wise witch.
Her Dark Souls outfits fall along those same lines. Her Heretic Sorcerer outfit is taken fromKarla, a witch from Dark Souls 3with a penchant for dark sorceries.
Her second outfit is Emerald Fate, taken more obviously from theEmerald Herald of Dark Souls 2.
Raider
For Raider, his outfits are a statement piece. While the colours change, the overall look remains. Except for a very different helmet, the skull of a great beast.
His Dark Souls outfits accentuate his tanky nature.Rock-like is based onHavel originally appeared in Dark Souls 1, and reappeared in Dark Souls 3. His was an immovable rock, a suitable role for Raider as well.
The second is of perhaps the most beloved character in Souls games, the famed knight of Catarinaand his many incarnations.
Executor
With Executor’s armour grafted to their skin, the main difference in their armour comes in the helmet, colour, and the extra garbs layered on top.
Executor’s Dark Souls outfits pull from very different places. The first is the Thorns set, based onKirk, the Knight of Thorns who frequently invades you in Dark Souls 1.
The second is the Sable Church, which representsYuria of Londor who appears in Dark Souls 3.
Duchess
For the most part, Duchess' outfits all remain quite similar, many a colour change or the addition of a very fancy hat reminiscent of Dark Souls 2’s Lucatiel.
For her Dark Souls outfits, her first is Black Leather, and is based mostly on thefemale variant of this armour set from Dark Souls 2, though it appears in all three.
Her Wraith outfit is more clearly based on theDarkwraiths from the original Dark Souls, though the outfit also appears in subsequent entries.
Revenant
Revenant is already a somber character, and her extra outfits only push that image further, packed with ornamentation.
Her Dark Souls outfits pull from a wider variety than her default outfits. Her first one, The Sister in the Painting, is taken directly fromSister Friede of Dark Souls3.
Her Dragon School outfit is based on theDark Souls 1 Sorcerer set, though with a few extra flourishes.
With thehigh Murk costof the Darkness outfits especially, you’ll be playing for a long time if you plan on unlocking every single outfit. And if even more get added, then you can expect that number to skyrocket.
