You’ll first start fighting enemies in the Spring Village itself while playingRune Factory: Guardians Of Azumaas you’re tasked with getting the carpenter back into the village. However, your combat for a good amount of time will be fairly easy, and you won’t see much use of items to heal yourself or regenerate your RP.

However, as you progress through the chapters and get into more difficult combat with level 60 or higher enemies, you’ll start needing the regeneration quite often. Thankfully, you can craft a bunch of potions to take on your journey, and you can use these in the middle of battle.

How To Unlock Potions

It won’t take you a long time to unlock potions in Rune Factory: Guardians Of Azuma asyou’ll naturally start getting some of these as you explore the world and finish specific Ema Plaque requests. The latter is one of the best ways to get the best potions for your current tier of battle. However, the amount you get from these might not be enough.

If that’s the case, you’ll have to startcrafting your own potions, and for that, you’ll need the Chemist building. you may unlock this building by reaching the end of the Winter Village main story where Zaza first introduces you to Magatama, and then gives you a recipe for Chemist, which you can then place in any development zone after making it.

The firstChemist building should be placed in the Winter Villageas it’ll help you progress the main story.

After making the building, you have to find a villager who has the Chemist trait on them. As soon as you get one, you can assign them to the building and talk to them to create your own potions. Apart from potions, this villager can also help you craft remedies to negate status effects and some other items.

Every Potion You Can Make And How To Unlock It

As you progress through the story, you’ll continuously get recipes fornew types of potions that will heal you better or regenerate extra RP. However, the resources you need to craft them are quite rare:

Recovery Potion (120 HP)

Interact with the Frog Statue in thelower middle section of the Winter Village outskirtsnear a Jizo shrine. You’ll get to it as you progress through the story.

Healing Potion (700 HP)

Interact with the Frog Statue on thesouthern side of Graveyard Islandwhile searching for the Astral Shrines.

Mystery Potion (1,600 HP)

Choose theright paths in the Twilight Gaol areaand you’ll get these on one of the Frog Statues.

Magical Potion (50% HP)

Interact with thefirst Frog Statue you find on the Island of Slumberin Skies of Azuma.

Invinciroid (100% HP and RP)

You’ll find this on the Frog Statue right before you reach theteleport point for the Holy Shrine of the Autumn god.

If you’ve been picking up the grass outside your home and the god shrines in different areas, you might not have a lot of trouble crafting these potions. However, if you haven’t been doing that, you can buy some grass every day by heading over to the General Stores that you’ve made in your development zones.
