Nonetheless, there’s a lot to choose from and unlock, making the correct choice somewhat unclear!
Every Vehicle, Their Stats, And How To Unlock Them
Vehiclesare, obviously, an essential aspect of Mario Kart World, offering a staggering40 totalto choose from, ranging fromKarts to Bikes to ATVs,offering many ways to tackle the tricky and often dangerous terrains present from course to course in the game.
Furthermore, thestats and other properties of each vehicle will change depending on the character you select,which isdetermined by their weight class,offering pros and cons across the board. You must be wary of this if you want to maximize your potential on the track!
Speed, at least at the moment, is one of the more crucial Stats in Mario Kart World, meaning a vehicle with a strong Speed Stat is typically regarded as one of the best in the game. However, you must factor in your selected character, which can drastically change things, making some options more viable than others, regardless of what the Statsheet below showcases.

The Stats for each vehicle above are theBase Statsof the vehicle,meaning the Stats raised or lowered by your selected character have yet to come into play.Additionally, they areout of 20,asevery 5 Stat Points make up one whole bar,with a total offour bars per Stat.
Character Stats are an entirely different beast, so we won’t be covering them here, but they can change things up drastically, making itcrucial to understand your main’s weight class and the Stats they will raise, and even lower,allowing you to find the perfect vehicle for them.
Featherweight Characters (Swoop, Sidestepper, the Babies, etc.) typically excel at raising Acceleration and Handling. At the same time, Heavyweight Characters (Bowser, Chargin' Chuck, Donkey Kong, etc.) will almost always drastically increase Speed and Weight. Middleweight Characters (Mario, Birdo, Rosalina, etc.) are generally more balanced across the board!
Lastly, as you may see from the table above, there are only11 starting vehiclesin Mario Kart World, meaning theremaining 29 are unlocked randomly every time you collect 100 Coins.It doesn’t matter the game mode, so long as you gather 100 Coins!
