The Tony Hawk games have always had fun cameo characters andTony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4is no exception to that rule. However, there is no set way to acquire every character. Instead, they are acquired by doing everything from simply purchasing them from the shop, to purchasing them with real money, to completing a series of challenges.
We’ll take you through every character who isn’t on the base roster, and how you unlock them. Additionally, we’ll give you some quick tips on how to acquire the money you’ll need to purchase them. This guide should be your easy point of reference for everything you need to know to get every character.
The Characters For Sale In The Secret Shop
Outside of the deluxe edition characters,every skater you unlock will need to be purchased in the Secret Shop. However, not every character is available in the shop immediately. However, some will require you to unlock them by completing a specific set of goals. Either way, you are going to need to pony up some cash to get them. Here are a few tips for getting some quick cash.
Thankfully, you may get a decent amount of money by just playing through the stages normally. Additionally, every stage features wads of cash, andeach one is worth $1,000. However, the easiest money in the game is found by entering into the Photo Mode andquickly sifting through every visual filter in the fourth menu. This will complete the Styles Upon Styles Tricks Challenge, whichgives you $5,000! Additionally, gettinga gold medalin a competition gives you$3,000.
How Do I Unlock Andy Anderson?
Andy Anderson is one of the premier skaters of the modern era, known for his iconic advocacy of helmets, as well as his prodigious talent. Oh, and he’s the sole canuck on the roster, which is a crime given how good THPS’s Canada stage is. Andy can be purchased the moment you have enough cash on hand.Andy costs a total of $5,000from the Secrets Shop.
How Do I Unlock Bam Margera?
Bam Margera was among the most popular skaters featured in the original Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3, and there was a little controversy over him potentially not making the roster. However, when all was said and done,Tony Hawk himself swooped in and made it happen. Like Andy Anderson, you canpurchase Bam from the Secrets Shop for $5,000.
How Do I Unlock Michelangelo?
Mikey is probably the most exciting inclusion of the bunch, and he’s probably the most iconic of the cameos included in the game, but he isn’t a particularly difficult character to recruit. He’s for sale in the Secret Shop from the onset.You just need to pay the $10,000cost associated with this tubular teen.
How Do I Unlock Constable Richard?
Constable Richard is the modern incarnation of Officer Dick with the face and voice of Hollywood legend Jack Black. He is also one of the most enjoyable unlocks in the game. In order to unlock Constable Richard, you will need to find a panda in every stage of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4.Once you have found all 18 pandas, you will be able to buy this series staple for $5,000. We’ve provided the location of each panda in the table below.
Panda Location
Foundry
This panda is located in theback cornerof the Foundry. It ison the second floorof the foundry.
Canada
You’ll find this panda restingbeside a treethat is encircled by a ramp. It is in the areabelow The Horn grind.
Rio
In the corner of the Rio map there is a fountain. You’ll find a panda sittingnext to this fountain.
Suburbia
After you break into thebackyard of the haunted house, you’ll find this panda sitting above a ramp.
This panda is found aboveboarding gate C2.
Skater Island
You’ll find this panda on the beachbehind a small row boat.
Los Angeles
you may find this pandain the underground halfpipenext to the building you can smash through the glass of.
Tokyo
This panda isin the secret section of the skate park.The panda is tuckedunderthe entrance.Head down to the lower area and grind the section that goes under the entrance to this area.
Cruise Ship
From the starting point, head to thelower deck on the right sideof the ship. The panda is sittingin one of the flower bedsabove you.
College
Next to the parking complex,there is a small building witha roof that has ferns on all corners. The panda is on this roof.
San Francisco
This panda is on top of theroof of the building on the pierthat is on the left side of the map. It is between two bulkheads on the roof.
Movie Studio
you’re able to find this panda on thesecond level of the scaffolding surrounding Studio 34. You will be facing it at the start of the stage.
Alcatraz
This panda is on the platformhalfway up the massive guard tower. You’ll reach it bygrinding a wire from the roof.
Waterpark
Head alongside the castle, look for the giant bucket. You’ll find this pandasitting on a ledgenext to that bucket.
Kona
Look for thegrassy section of this stagewith a garbage dumpster next to a ramp. The panda isbehind the dumpster.
Shipyard
You can find this panda sitting on the top balcony surrounding the buildingon the pier. Look for the buildingacross from the crane and next to a boat filled with garbage.
London
This panda is just sitting alongside the wall near a trash bin in theunderground parking area.
Zoo
Head to theback right corner of this stage, and you’ll find thispanda above the cage.
Pinball
Finally, this panda is foundbehind the massive billboardwall that isabove the zombie cop holding the stop sign. This is right at the beginning of the stage.
While I’ve included the location of every panda, some of these can be a little difficult to get to, even when you know where they are. Worry not, a guide is being writtenas I typethat will provide you with a detailed guide on how to get to them all. I’ll link it here the minute it is published.
How Do I Unlock Birdman?
Birdman is the ultimate unlock in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4. In order to acquire this cel-shaded, undead avian, you’ll need tocomplete the Wallplant the Multiball Targets goal on the Pinball stage.This goal simply calls for you to ride into the bird’s mouth, then wallplant two sets of targets: one set is right next to the skull, the other is just a little past it. Of course, you’ll need to do that while dodging a ton of pinballs. Once you have completed this goal, you’ll be able to purchase theStrange Feathers from the Secret Shop for $5,000. Purchasing these will unlock Birdman.
It was previously thought that you had to complete every goal to unlock Birdman, but that was because everyone who had unlocked him had been working their way through every goal leading up to the Pinball stage. Whoops.
How Do I Unlock The Revenant And Doom Slayer?
We hate to deliver the sad news, but you can’t unlock the Revenant or the Doom Slayer. These characters are paid DLC. If you want to rip and tear with these Doom icons, thenyou will have to purchase them. You can either buy them by gettingthe Deluxe Edition, or, if you bought the standard version, you will need to purchase theContent Pack upgrade.
