The more you progress the main story ofRune Factory: Guardians Of Azuma, the more you’ll have to do in the game as it expands upon the village management and exploration aspect at the same time. To keep up with this, it’s important to use every tool in your arsenal and make the job a little easier for yourself.

One of the things you can do to save yourself a lot of time is tame a bunch of animals. As you do this, you’ll get a lot of monster drops passively, preventing you from going back to the same areas and farming them over and over again.

How to Unlock A Barn

If you want to start taming animals in Rune Factory: Guardians Of Azuma, you have a long path ahead as you first have toprogress the main story until you reach the Autumn Village, which is the third one in line after Spring and Summer. After getting to this village, you have to continue the main story until you unlock its god.

This is a long process, but once you’ve done it, Yachiyo and Kurama himself will give you a task to befriend a Buffamoo, unlocking aBarnin the process. At first, you’ll get a free Barn within the Autumn Village where you have up to four slotsof animals to keep. Smaller monsters take one slot while larger ones, like Buffamoo, will take two.

You can check themonsters that can be tamed alongside their required spotsin the Bestiary tab.

After you finish taming a Buffamoo, the main story will take you back to Yachiyo, who will give you the Barn recipe. you may then create one of these inany development zone using 35 Lumber and 15 Material Stone each. You can also unlock a Large Barn by reaching level five in Autumn Village, which has double the slotsand costs 100 Lumber with 40 Material Stone.

How To Tame Every Monster

You can tame almost everything you fight in Rune Factory: Guardians Of Azuma, and just like before, you cancheck what you can tame in the Bestiary by looking for the “Can Befriend” option. While you’re looking for a tame, it’s important to get the highest possible level since they’ll give you all the lower-tier drops as well.

Once you’ve found your target, you first have to use your Plum Branch or Iroha’s Fan on them until you see a smile appear on their name. Once this happens, you’re able to normally defeat the enemy and it’ll get back up after. Here, you have to give them one of the items they like, and after a couple of seconds, your taming will either succeed or fail.

You havethree tries to succeed in the tamingof a monster before it disappears.

While taming a monster in the game, the best items to give them are one of their drops. For example,if you’re trying to tame a Spider, your best chances are giving it a thread. Once you give an item to the monster, you can see how much they like it by looking at the number of hearts on them, from one to three.

However, even with three hearts, there’s a chance that you’ll fail the taming. If this happens, you may simply give them the same item againand it’ll likely succeed.
