In the fourth chapter of the retro RPG adventure,Deltarune, you play as Kris who explores the Dark World in order to seal a Dark Fountain along with their friends, Susie and Ralsei. On their adventure, they meet several Darkners, such as a mysterious old man with a large study and peculiar antics.
As you find your way through the halls of what seems to be a mansion, you will come across several puzzles involving pianos that have the ability to move bookcases when played. Moving these bookcases to certain spots will allow you to walk over to previously unreachable areas.
How To Solve The Pink And Green Piano Puzzle
In thenorthwest corner of the old man’s studyis a room that leads to an area with a series of puzzles.Head all the way northfrom here, past a small library anda puzzle with a blue piano, to reacha hallway with a door to the north. In the northern area is a piano that requires you toplay a piece to open the gate. The first piece is in a room all the wayto the right of the hallway.
You may noticesome climbable spotson certain walls. You willneed a tool for this, and thepink and green piano puzzlemust be solved to get one step closer to this tool.
When you enter the room in the east, you’ll find a puzzle involving a piano that’shalf pink and half green. As it is a challenging puzzle,Ralsei will offer to solve itfor you. That said, you can solve it yourself andnab a treasure chestlocated at thebottom of the puzzle.
Interact with the pianoto start playing it. You canhit C on your keyboardto switch from color to color. Then,use the directional keysto control the bookcase’s direction andhit Z to move it. Before you solve the puzzle, you can firstaim to get the chestat the bottom of the room.
After placing the bookcases in their positions, you will be able to walk over them andreach the treasure chestfor an item. After that,return to the pianoto solve the puzzle and make it to the roomin the northeast corner.
After that, you may easily make your way across the shelves andget the second half of the piano piecein the next room.
