Date Everything!introduces you several characters that represent the objects in your house. In a place as big as your home, you will have the chance to meet more than 100 Dateables, each one with a different story and background for you to discover.
River embodies the water in your house, and as she can take on many forms, she struggles a bit to find one that she feels comfortable with. As she tries to put on different personas, you must help her to find self-acceptance, and let her understand that she doesn’t have to please everyone else to be fine with who she is.
How To Meet River
To meet River, you mustinteract with any source of running water in the house, which should summon her.This can be done from the moment you’re done with the tutorial, so she should be easy to find.
Dislikes
Being Defined
River is a very insecure characterwho struggles a lot with how others perceive her, and that will be a huge part of her dialogue choices. Even though she’s friends with a lot of the other Dateables (even romantically involved with some of them), you must always be supportive of her, only showing romantic interest when it’s appropriate.
Love Ending
To get River to love you, you must help her through several encounters with other Dateables, whereshe struggles to find a personality of her own and tries to put on a fake persona to make others like her.
In general,be supportive and reassuring,and whenever you have the chance,always state how much you like her when she’s not trying to please everyone.She will appreciate that more than anything, andonce she learns to truly accept herself, she will be honest about her feelings, and you’ll have the chance to reciprocate.
Friendship Ending
Proceed as if you were aiming for the love ending, and when the time comes,you’ll get the chance to choose to be her friend instead of a loverif that’s your preference.
Hate Ending
To get this ending,you must be intentionally mean, unserious, and overall disrespectful to her, aiming to be as dismissive as possible. Eventually, she should hate you.
SPECS Reward
Once you get your first ending with River (regardless of the result),she will reward you with five points in Empathy.

How To Get Every River Collectable
River’s collectables are pretty much obtained automatically as you progress through her storyline, so you don’t have to worry too much about it, just be sure to keep progressing through her scenes and you should be fine.
Keep in mind that, in some cases, you might not be to get all the collectables in a single playthrough.

Obtained automatically when River will make a pun regarding a certain singer.
Collectable #2
Obtained automatically while you have a conversation with Bathsheba during River’s storyline.
