Persona 5: The Phantom Xtells the story of Wonder, a normal teenager who gets involved in a mysterious plot and becomes a Phantom Thief. With the help of a talking owl called Lufel, he’ll quickly begin exploring the Metaverse, while also maintaining a normal life during the day.
Like in any other Persona game, you will meet various characters that will support you through the game, and as you become more intimate with them, your bonds will also get stronger. In the main games, these are called Social Links, but here, they’re a bit different.
What Are Soulmates?
You can meet different characters in the game; thiswill allow you to get more intimate with them through the Synergy Bond system,like the Social Links of the main Persona games. This system will let you get closer to a certain list of characters, andthey represent different aspects of your daily life, such as Motoha being your classmate, Merope your Velvet Room concierge, Kayo your neighbor, and so on.
However, of all the characters that can give you a Synergy Bond,only three of them will let you romance them after reaching Synergy Rank 15.These are the available Synergy Bond characters and the potential Soulmates in the game:

How To Get A Soulmate
To level up your Synergy rank,you musthang out with them, choose the right dialogue options,and whenever you can,give them specific Gift itemsyou can buy in stores.These items will have indicative icons showing which character likes them in the shop menu, sojust check in every store and be sure to buy some in advance.

Reaching Rank 15 as a Synergy Bond with any of these characters will let you choose them as your Soulmate, but you must keep in mindyou can only have one Soulmate at a time, and the remaining characters will have a Friendship ending, so be prepared in advance.
Keep in mind that you will still earn your rewards for every Synergy Rank you achieve with them, regardless of the relationship you get.
