When you take part in the combat ofRune Factory: Guardians Of Azuma, it might feel simple, but there are a lot of layers impacting your combat, and you might not even notice some of them. Debuffs are a perfect example of this since they aren’t that common in the game, but can still be the reason for your defeat.
These debuffs can be applied to your character through different means, and it’s easy to tell when you have them since your character starts having an aura around them. Each debuff plays a different role, and here’s everything you need to know about them.
Every Debuff And What It Does
There are a total of five debuffs that can be applied to your character during combat:Poison, Curse, Paralysis, Weak, and Sleep. Whenever a debuff is applied, you can see a specific color around your character, telling you which one you have. Outside of certain enemies, some of these debuffs can also be applied by the blighted areas.
Drains yourcharacter’s HP over time.
Curse
Drains yourcharacter’s RP over time, which is the blue bar below your HP.
Decreases the character’smovement speed and STR/ATK.
Decreases the character’smovement speed and VIT/DEF.
Sleep
Decreases the character’smovement speed and INT/M.ATK.
Thegreen blight also applies Poison to your character, while the red one only drains HP if you stand in its fire, and doesn’t apply any debuffs.
