Nintendo’s amiibo originally launched in 2014 and has been supported by the 3DS, the Wii U, the Nintendo Switch, and now, theNintendo Switch 2. These figures can unlock in-game rewards, outfits, and more by tapping them on an NFC touchpoint on your Joy-Con 2 or Pro Controller.

Most amiibo can be used right out of the box, but the Nintendo Switch 2 allows you to also register them to unlock some extra benefits.
