Things are getting weird here in what looks to be another version of Tsukudo-cho, your main hub area inRaidou Remastered: The Mystery Of The Soulless Army, but when another black cat appears and leads you to a boy who looks like you with a massive facial scar, the timelinereallystarts to jumble.
Raidou Kuzunoha XIV has found himself in the Showa era and needs to get back to his own world in Taisho 20 in this episode of Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army. Hope you’re ready for another series of puzzles in the Dark Realm!
Episode Nine Overview
Follow the black cat that looks like Gouto-Doji through this oddly prestine version of Tsukudo-cho. Feel free to explore a bit on the way to discover some hidden treasures, but the ultimate goal here is togo to Tamonten Shrineto meet Raido and Goto, two parallel world iterations of Raidou and Gouto who look almost idential, save for the massive scar on Raido’s face.
He’ll bring you over to the Herald of Yatagarasu at the Nameless Shrine in Shinoda, who tells you that you’ll need tosolve three puzzlesto reassemble the Amatsu Kanagi, an item she says will allow her and Raido to send you back to your own world as intended.
These puzzles will bring you back into the Dark Realm iterations of the towns you’ve already visited for episodes in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, but you’ll find they look a bit different now than they have previously, and that they feature new items and loot to be collected along the way. Be sure to explore these worlds a little, since there’s never harm in stocking up on freebies. You’ll also finda slew of new demons here that can be confined and used for future fusionsin the Goumadenas you continue leveling up.
It doesn’t matter what order you do the three puzzles in, so feel free to simply choose a neighborhood to get started. You’ll need to do all three before the end of the episode, andYatagarasu calls you back as soon as you solve the puzzle, so do any exploring before triggering the boss battle in this Dark Realm neighborhood. Once you’ve collected all three pieces of the Amatsu Kanagi in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, you’ll see a cutscene with Raidou and Raido at Uki-Gaeomi Bridge before Episode Nine comes to an end.
Dark Ginza-Cho Puzzle Solution
While the regular version of Dark Ginza-cho in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army was home to the first Red Cape battle earlier in the game, you’ll find it to look rather different now. There aregreen walls that cannot be passed through, which requires you to do a bit of a serpentine route through the city where you could previously walk down the two main drags of the area in the north of town.
Before you get too far into the area, visit the Dragon’s Fount to go down into the Goumaden and call on a demon that knowsUse Force, since you’ll be doing some heavy lifting in this episode. We’d suggest ignoring any that are of the Frost Order, though!
With them in your tubes (or summoned to follow Raidou around), go toward thenorthwest of Dark Ginza-cho, where you’ll find your first miniboss battle against a Pyro Muspell. Rely on Frost Order demons to exploit its ice weakness before being allowed to move onto therealpuzzle.
Backnear the construction site, you’ll find that a city bus has been rammed into the area beneath the temporary bridge in a puzzle that’ll feel familiar from the second episode of the game. You’ll need the demon that can Use Force, so summon them andsend a demon that can Use Force on a Solo Investigationonce you’ve moved the initial part of the bus out of the way.
Be sure this demon can hold its own, though, since you’ll be thrust into asolo battleonce you’ve cleared the puzzle. To do so, send this demon through the red wall to the left, then circle around to move the bus once again and use good magic skills to stun the boss whilefighting as your demon. Once the battle is done, return to Raidou and go upstairs to the temporary overpass, and prepare for another battle for the next prism.
Dark Harumi-Cho Puzzle Solution
When you first arrive in Dark Harumi-cho in Episode Nine of Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, you’ll notice aShouten standing near the Dragon’s Fountby the main entrance. Ask it what’s going on, and you’ll learn that there are several other Shouten hiding around Dark Harumi-cho. This Shouten would like you tofind and fight other Shoutento earn Purifying Charms toprove your mettle in combat.

Once you’ve defeated all four sets of Shouten, return to the one near the entrance to Dark Harumi-cho to trigger another miniboss battle for this chapter and grab the prism for Dark Harumi-cho.
Dark Sakuradayama Puzzle Solution
You’ve only just left Dark Sakuradayama when the Herald of Yatagarasu sends you back tosolve a puzzle at the shrineat the base of Waden One. There were people milling about here and plenty of items to find in the real world, but here in this version of Dark Sakuradayama, you’ll need tosolve a light stone puzzlenear the shrine in the area.
The trick, though, is that the lights turn back off if Raidou gets too far away from them, so you’ll need to use a clever combination of Raidou’s own power and ademon on a Solo Investigationhere. The solution to the stone puzzle in Dark Sakuradayama is as follows:
Once complete, you’ll summon a demon who, once again, is ready to fight, triggering the miniboss battle againstOmitsunu. It uses electric magic, so combat it with sheer force to earn the prism for this area.
