Ranked Matches

You won’t be able to access this tillLevel 32, and for good reason, as Ranked Matches play very differently from the vanilla version of the game. You’ll fight against other players, and you’re able to eitherfight solo or in a three-on-three.

There are a few rules that you need to know before diving into a match. First, the Ranked section has itsown set of gear, which you’re able to find in thePVP tab in your inventory.

Next, when you play for the first time, you are given the default armor set. If you want to get better gear, you’ll need to go to theShop and spend Battle Points, which are earnedwhen you win matches, so you must be playing Ranked a lot to earn a decent amount of points.

Some gear will be locked till you reach the appropriate rank, so keep this in mind before looking to buy armor.

In the base game, whenever you use a skill, you have to wait for the cooldown timer to expireto use it again, but in Ranked Matches, skills work differently. Skills useEnergy Cost, which is the white line under your health bar, and if you run out of energy, you can’t use any skills till thebar refills again; to get energy back, step awayand don’t attack.

You can still lose energy when you take damage, so verify you’re dodging while being passive. Otherwise, it might take longer for your energy to recharge.

On every player’s health bar, there willbe a white mark. When your opponent’s health is at this mark, they’ll beable to counter Crowd Control moves,so it’s recommended tostand back and wait for your Energy Cost to replenish.

Rank Levels

Like any other game that has ranked, Crystal of Atlan has the same system, so you’llstart on Bronze III, and then go up the ladder into higher ranks. As you win matches, not only will you earn Battle Points to purchase gear, you’ll also get rewarded withVictory Points that go towards your Rank progression.

Once the Guards are taken care of, there will betougher and different bossesin the next stages to fight, each with its attack pattern.
