Found in theResort Layerof Donkey Kong Bananza, one of the most chill plains you tunnel down into, this level can be tricky to access, and features a hidden Bananadium Gem. Thankfully, we’re here to help you find, and finish, this delightful Donkey Kong experience.
How To Open The Sealed Level In Donkey Kong Bananza’s Resort Layer
Throughout the game, you’ll encounter many these sealed off levels, usually with a builder nearby. They’ll often quote 9,999 gold for the job, then to make the price seem more reasonable, do it for 1,000 gold. But here,the builder is not immediately nearby, so you’re left with a level you can’t open.
Hop down from the ledgeand wander back past the Stuff Shop tothe column of Liftoff Ore. Here, you’ll find the builder, and after a little bit of gold has greased his palms (not that he has palms), Mine-Cart Country will be open for business.
Where To Find The Secret Bananadium Gem In Mine-Cart Country
Thefirst Bananadium Gemand thelast Bananadium Gemarevery straightforwardin Mine-Cart Country. Thefirstisunmissableand given to youhalfwaythrough, while thethirdisunmissableright at theend. It’s the middle Bananadium Gem that might give you trouble here.
Thankfully, it’s not too hard when you know where to look. Play the Challenge Course as normal until you come to the part withthe gaps in the tracks. Jump over each gap until you reachthe gap that has three chunky golden ballsin avertical column, just like in the picture above.
When you get here,don’t jumpat all. Instead, let yourselffall down the gapbetween the tracks and there will bea secret trackat the end waiting to catch you. This will lead you to themiddle Bananadium Gem, before offeringa barrel cannonto shoot you back to the main track so you can finish as normal.
