When you first startDate Everything, it can be tempting to find love with every Dateable object you come across. Love is great, after all. But when you come across 100 different characters to date, you just won’t click with all of them, whether that’s because you just don’t mesh and work better as friends, or because you outright dislike them.
Date Everything doesn’t treat love as the only endpoint for a relationship. you’re able to be friends, sure, but you can hate each other as well. In fact, just like Skylar loves love, and Dorian values friendship above all else, the elusive Reggie just hates to see a relationship flourish, and revels in hatred. So here’s how to meet them.
Who Is Regina?
Regina, or Reggie as he more commonly likes to be called, is one of the many Dateables in the game, but one that can’t just be found around the world. Like Nightmare,Reggie is a conceptual object rather than a physical one.In this case, Reggie is the physical embodiment of rejection.
Regina just loves to hate. So being something of a hater to everyone you come across is the kind of thing that Reggie loves, and isthe kind of thing that will make you fast friends. And maybe, just maybe, even lovers.
How To Meet Regina
So how do you actually meet Regina in the first place? In hindsight, it’s quite obvious, though not exactly the kind of thing you’d have your eyes open for. Unlike most other Dateables that appear physically in the world,Reggie has to be summoned through rather specific means.
And those means are throughmaking another Dateable hate you. Any of them. As soon as you get your very first Hate ending, by choice or by the Dateable being physically repulsed by you, Reggie will automatically appear right afterwards to make fun of you for being rejected.
That said, they still love the spectacle, and are happy to rope you into their rejection endeavours since he just loves seeing that hate flowing so damn much. To help you meet him whenever you want,he adds an app to your phone so you can call on him whenever. There’s not much to do here, but it’s nice to hear from him.
How To Change Your Relationship With Regina
So Reggie loves hate, and appears whenever you get a Hate ending, even after you’ve already met him. So if he loves hate,does he love you for hating others?While it’s a bit more complex than that, it is more-or-less accurate.
The only way to increase your SPECS points is to get an ending with a Dateable. Reggie may love to hate, but he’s not heartless. After you get a few more Hate endings,around five or so, he will become your friendand offer you his SPECS points. For most characters, getting an ending is the endpoint and they are then complete. Reggie is not quite the same.
The more Hate endings you get, the happier Reggie becomes. In fact,should you get enough Hate endings, Reggie will even come to love you, ironic as it may seem. However, the inverse is true, too. If you get nothing but love all the way through the game, and manage to undo all your Hate endings with Candies, thenReggie will turn his ire on you and you’ll get his Hate ending.
No matter how many times your relationship status changes with Reggie, you willonly get SPECS points the first time you achieve an endingwith him.
