It comes as no surprise that large, complicated, specialty vehicles would cost the big bucks.RoadCraftmakes that especially clear, with some of their more powerful tools costing quite a bit of cash.

Even if you’re a high enough rank to unlock some of the later-game vehicles, there’s no promise that you may afford them. And the game doesn’t leave many opportunities to really save up. To help you buy that new crane truck sooner, we’ve outlined the best ways to make money quickly.

Main Jobs

The main jobs offered on each level in RoadCraft are the most “important” in the context of the narrative. The rewards granted reflect that, offeringthousands of dollars and rank points per job.

Many of these jobs are shorter and simpler than the other tasks available, acting as introductions to mechanics and locations. As such, they’re one of the quickest ways to earn a lot of money.

You can reset the progress of a map in the HUB screen. This allows you to redo all of the jobs it had, earning money repeatedly.

Side Jobs

As you progress with the main jobs in each level, you’ll be prompted with optional side jobs that, while not needed to progress, offer bonus rewards.

The difficulty and size of therewards can vary greatlyfrom level to level. While some can be very time-consuming, others can be done in a breeze, especially ifhigher-level equipmentis available.

Infrastructure Routes

Often presented during both main and side jobs, Routes are one of the various infrastructure tasks that you need to establish. They’re alsothe only ones that you need to maintain to get the full benefit from.

Each route designates two locations. Your job is toplot out a pathway for a convoy to follow between them. The catch is that these paths almost always include some kind of problem or obstacle. This could be debris scattered on the road, broken bridgeways needing to be repaired, or flooding and mud-filled gaps that need to be packed with sand.

A dump truck sits at a construction depot in RoadCraft, a pop up promp explains the rules.

Once the route is clear and a path established, a single vehicle convoy will be sent out to follow it.If the vehicle makes it to the other location, you’ll be rewarded with a variety of goodies, like materials, fuel, rank points, and most importantly, money.

Assuming you did a good job, these convoys will then repeat, sending another truck out and waiting for it to be delivered. This will repeat indefinitely.you may see how much reward remains on the map screen, in the infrastructure segment.

The first ten routes will grant you a reward, after which the route will reward nothingand can be manually ended for convenience. Be sure to resolve any route failures you encounter, even after the first successful trip.

Selling Materials

The only non-scripted way to make a profitis to sell materials. Each map features factories that produce steel beams, steel pipes, and concrete slabs. They also have native trees you can cut down.

These materials can be used to complete jobs, craft bridges, or otherwise just store away at any base of operations. You can, however, sell these materials to a Construction Depot for cash.Using a cargo vehicle, bring whatever materials you wish to sell to the green square and activate the shop menu. Then follow the button prompt to sell all items in the zone for the listed price.

Since theyonly purchase processed items(and properly cut trees), a time investment is required. But with more raw resources than you could possibly need, this provides an excellent long-term method of money-making.

Deconstructing bridges you made refunds all the materials, which can then be sold, assuming you no longer need the bridge.

Selling Vehicles

We don’t recommend this method, because it’s never profitable, but you may sell any non-rusty vehicle you own for a large sum. The sell price is much less than the buying price, though. So this method should be reserved for moments where you need some money quickly.

Alternatively, whenbuying a better version of the same vehicle type, selling the previous one can be an easy way to pad your pocketswithout any hindrance. You don’t need four different scouts anyway (unless you areplaying Multiplayer)

you’re able to’t sell rusty vehicle variants. And since those are given to you for free, you’ll never not have access to the right vehicle for any given job.
