Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Timeis an RPG. Like plenty of its RPG peers, it features an economy, complete with various ways to earn money, and a plethora of reasons to spend it. Knowing how to make loads of Dosh - Fantasy Life i’s name for its form of cash - is imperative if you don’t want to face some serious spending limits.

In fact, you’ll need a cool 10,00 Dosh to get through an early-game story quest, too. While that number isn’ttoohard to reach, expect to require hundreds of thousands more if you want everything in the game.

Sell Your Loot

Don’t hesitate tosell loads of resources. That’s a red flag concept in many games, and we’d be lying if we told you that you’ll never need a fair amount of it. Buthoarding is seldom necessary.

If an item appears especially valuable, think twice; but truth be told, almost every resource-related item is endlessly obtainable. You’re going to wind up with dozens upon dozens of certain items as yougatheranddefeat enemies. Ignore that instinct to hang on to it all.

Take On Plenty Of Standard Quests

Many denizens ofEternia Village, the Capital, and beyond will periodically haveregular quests for you to undertake. They’ll mostly requirespecific Lives, frequently involving gathering and crafting. The latter seems especially common.

You’ll eventually need to work on every Life, anyway, andcompleting these quests will net you a tidy profit. Sometimes, that’s a slim number; 300 Dosh here, 500 Dosh there. But it adds up, and there are also quests that get you thousands of bucks instead.

Seek Out Dangerous Monster Icons

InGinormosia, the map will always markspots with monster icons where stronger foes can be found. Defeating them not only contributes to each zone’sArea Rank, but plenty willdrop a decent amount of Dosh. Again, seldom ahugesum, but these are generally fast fights.

Similarly, standard quests involving seeking out one or more specially-designated monstersback in the Past will give you the one-two punch of the quest’s Dosh in conjunction with the more-than-usual money from those monster drops.

Increase Area Ranks

Speaking of Area Ranks, when you’ve earned enough points in a given zone, you can upgrade that zone. This is available in several tiers, each requiring successively more points.

Doing soelevates the monster levels, so you should only do so when you’re ready to face such beasts. But you’re making money every time you fight, and you’l want to fight often, regardless. It’s win-win, even if takes time to raise your Combat Lives to an appropriate level.

More importantly, all gathering nodes will provide better resources, and all treasure is similarly upgraded. This means more money when you sell your hard-earned items!

Craft Valuable Items

Crafting Livesdon’t just provide you with excellent equipment. Nor do they simply service townsfolk who have crafting-related requests.

You can alsouse your Crafting Lives to produce all manner of items to sell, including - eventually - some extremely valuable pieces. We’re talking thousands of Dosh, easily earned. Well, easily once you’ve leveled your Crafting Lives properly, and suited up with good stat boosts.

Start Every Life

Naturally, working on every Life is profitable in its own right. Butjust beginning each Life will earn you 1,000 Dosh apiece. You can skip the intro quests once you’ve done one, too -although we don’t recommend doing so, as they’re often fun for characterization.

Even if you do those quests, you’re looking at 1,000 Dosh in a matter of minutes. Ultimately,12,000 Dosh isn’t going to feel like a ton, but early on, it’s a veritable mountain.

There are technically 14 Lives, not 12. But two will be lockeduntil you reach certain milestones. These get you another 2,000 Dosh, although by then, that’s not as big a deal.

Recruit Buddies

It takes a few chapters in Fantasy Life i’s story before you unlockBuddies, but once you do,every source of Dosh can be engaged with at a faster clip. This is thanks to every Buddy having their own Life, and thus, being capable of assisting you with a variety of tasks.

Butthey can all fight, and even just having the “wrong” types around while youchop trees, mine ore, catch fish, grants you some bonuses. Buddies can even debuff those resource nodes, making easier for you.Crafting is made easier, too, especially with the right pals along.

Playing the multiplayer modecan be all the more fruitful.More players can mean quicker task completion, and the results speak for themselves in this regard.
