InCrystal of Atlan, like most games, content is locked behind a wall based on your ability to have a gear score high enough to participate. You’ll most likely need to upgrade your gear to reach some of this walled-off content, and to check whether you have the right gear score, the game will check your nullification score.

What Is Nullification?
Nullification is a score attributed to your character based on the stats on the gear you’re wearing. It is a soft number stat you can see by checking your character page.
Nullification determines whether your gear score is high enough to participate in certain content.Hexchess and Void Realm both have nullification requirementsbefore you can even attempt to do them.

The numberincreases based on the gear you’re wearing that has nullificationon it, and begins when you craft or obtain gear. Your score is determined by the added nullification score of each armor piece you are wearing.
How Do You Get Nullification?
The easiest way to get a nullification score is to play the story. Eventually, when youreach level 55, you willstart receiving gear that has the nullification staton it from the story.
Alternatively, you cancraft gear with a nullification staton it. At level 55, you will be able to craftRare Void gear that has a nullification stat, so you can begin to do higher-level content.
You can use gear from equipment not tied to your class to increase your nullification score. While this is not a permanent solution, you can use this access to grind, allowing you to gather materials to craft better gear with increased nullification.
Aside fromcrafting new gear, you canbuy gear from the auction house. you’re able to alsoenhance your gear to increase your nullification. Void Realm Nests will give you the materials needed to craft gear and seals.
Certain seals allow you to drastically increase your nullification number. You get the materials to create those seals from Void Realm challenges.
