InThe Sims 4: Enchanted By Naturethere are eight new ailments. These work similarly to illnesses in that they are a condition applied to Sims for a short period of time which affects their appearance and behavior. They can be spread to others and can be cured or left to fade naturally after a few days.
Ailments have a range of unique symptoms and can sometimes be beneficial. Each one has unique symptoms and physical signs which Sims in the Naturopathy career will want to learn. We take a look at what each ailment does, how to identify it and how to craft the cure.
What Are Ailments?
There areeight ailments in totaland each one haspositive and negative effectsas well asspecific symptomsyou can look for. The ailmentslast for around three days, unless cured.

How Do You Cure Ailments?
Ailment cures can becrafted at an apothecary tableusing the apothecary skill, orpurchased from the apothecary stall.you’re able to alsomanifest a cure from Moondrop Springsin Everdew.
Sims can alsopay to be cured by a Naturopath,or cure others if they choose to pursue this new career. Finally,fairies can learn an abilitywhich cancure, or bestow, an ailmenton other Sims.
All Ailment Symptoms And Cures

Lemon (2)
A Sim withSimoleon Feverwillcough up simoleonsat random.
The Sim will gain amulticolored patternon their body. It comprisesdots and simoleon symbolsin orange, blue, and green. It is easily visible on thearms, face and neck.
The Sim will also gain anuncomfortable +3 debufffor three days. When they cough up simoleons, they gainanother +1 uncomfortable debufffor two hours but willmake a couple of hundred simoleonsfor their discomfort.

Creation Impulseis an ailment which makes Simsunable to think of anything except creatingitems.
A Sim with this impulse willdisplay arashwhich appears asred, green, blue, and yellowpaint splotcheson their body. It islarge and easy to see.
They willwant to create itemsand seek creative tasks autonomously. They will have a+3 Dazed debuff for three days,but also gain askill boost when crafting.

Sims with theBurning Passionailment are a danger to their love life, and surroundings, since they willbecome flirty but also flammable.
A Sim with this burning achewill havevibrant yellow, purple, and orange flame patternsright up their arms.
These passionate Sims will have a+3 uncomfortable debuff, but will frequentlyenter flirty moods. Whenever they have aflirty buff,they have a chance toset fire to any flammable itemsin the area.

Daisy (1)
If a Sim has theGnome Lureailment, they will, unsurprisingly,lure gnomes to their location. These gnomes willbe alive brieflyand canclean or water plants nearby. Mostly one will vanish before another appears, but theyshow up fairly frequently.
A Sim with thegnome lure ailment will find theirskin turns bright red and has white spots on it,reminiscent of a toadstool.
These Sims are quite happy with their situation, getting a+3 happy buff for three days.The main issue here is thegnome visitorsflooding your lot withrandom seed packets.
When a Sim withSonic Sinusessneezesthings around them unexpectedly break.
The rash for this ailment is asmattering of red dotsall over the upper body, face and head.
A Sim with this willbreak things, but they’ll also gain aboost to their handiness skillwhen repairing items.
A Sim withLuck Magnetwill gaingood luckfor the duration of the ailment.
This ailment is recognized by thegreen cloverswhich appearall over a Sim’s upper body,face and head.
The Sim gains a+3 happy buffas well as thegood luck buff.
Basil (3)
A Sim withGreenie Meaniewill want to garden, and willbuild the gardening skillfaster. Unfortunately, they won’t enjoy it.
You can spot this ailment by thegreen splotcheson a Sim’s face, and thegreen vine patternswhich run down their arms.
The downside here is the+3 anger debufffor the duration of the ailment.
A Sim with theEmotional Voidailment willdisplay fewer emotions.
The rash for this ailment is arock-like grey patternall over the skin. It looks as if the Sim has patches of rock growing on them.
A Sim with this ailment will gain athree-day +3 Fine buffand will alsodampen the feelings of others around them.Both them and those close by will beless likely to enter second stage emotionssuch as very playful.
