The Tides of Terraria update is no different. Not only does it bring the usual additions, but it also includes a special dungeon and even introduces a few recognizable faces from Terraria itself. However, the real focus of this guide isn’t the flashy new locations or characters. Instead, it’s about a smaller, easy-to-miss feature that has a major impact: the addition of Pal Recovery Grenades.

How To Craft Pal Recovery Grenades

Just like all other items in the game,Pal Recovery Grenades will require you to first unlock the recipe for it.

Luckily,it doesn’t require you to be that high level, much like all other new items from the recent update.

You only need toreach level 32, and you can unlock it from the Technology menuusing three points.

Now that you have the recipe, you need to make sure that you haveat least one Weapon production structure available at your base.

It doesn’t matter if it’s high level, even the base Weapon Workbench will work;any will work.

Now you do have the recipe unlocked, but you are missing the ingredients for it. Alongside10Fiberand10Stone, you will need to go gatherfive Cavern Mushroom.

In case you don’t know how to get your hands on this material, this can mostly be foundinside different dungeons,and it will look like green mushrooms with a glow to them.

Now that you have all the ingredients that you need, simply head to the Weapon production structure andcraft the Pal Recovery Grenades.

How To Use Pal Recovery Grenades

Now the use of Pal Recovery Grenades is simple and easy, as the name suggests, they work likea grenade that explodes on impact and releases a healing effect that restores HP to your allied Pals.

Keep in mind that this does not work for you or the main character and is specifically for pals.

While it can be a bit challenging to hit a moving pal with the grenade, the best way to use it is totry and aim at the ground near the pal that requires healing, and on impact, thanks to its fair radius, they will get healed.

This is very good new equipment, as there were very limited ways if you wanted to heal your pals while on the run or during combat, soit can be extremely useful in boss fights.
