As you make friends with the dozens of Disney and Pixar characters inDisney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll encounter various quests and items that can make life easier in the village. While not every villager gets along well, you can befriend them all to earn unique rewards and fully experience all the Valley has to offer.
The Cheshire Cat is a whimsical feline that’s difficult to understand at times, however, his nonsensical nature means that there are all new ways for you to interpret the Valley. Here, he’ll even help you deconstruct items you don’t want anymore so you’re able to use the materials for other projects.
How To Unmake Things For The Cheshire Cat
To unlock this quest, you’ll need toreach level seven friendship with the Cheshire Cat. Speak to him in his tree to start the quest, where he’ll ask you tomake him three Wildly Jubilant Topiarieswith the following materials:
After making the three Wildly Jubilant Topiaries,keep them in your inventoryand give them to the Cheshire Cat. He’llask you to place themsomewhere in the village thenbreak them with your pickaxe.
It’s a good idea to place them near the tree so you can quickly go back and forth.
Return to the Cheshire Catto reflect on your smashing technique, thentake the Balloon Archeshe gives you andbreak them as well.Speak with the Cheshire Cat again to learnthere’s a way to unmake (or destroy) crafted itemsto get the materials back.
How To Unlock The Uncrafting Station
The key to the Uncrafting Station lies in Wonderland. Make your way tothe Alice in Wonderland Realm, thenfollow the trail of Blue Sporesthrough the forest tocollect 20 of them.
After collecting the spores,talk to the Cheshire Catand make your way to your Crafting Station. You’llneed the following materialsto make the Uncrafting Station:
Craft the Uncrafting Machine, then place it in the Valley. you’re able to now use it to deconstruct crafted furniture items and reclaim the items.
How To Use The Uncrafting Station
Touse the Uncrafting Station, interact with it andselect the desired itemto take apart. It willtake some time to completethe process, but you can see how long before confirming your selection.
Additionally, the item willcost Dreamlight to deconstruct, so you’ll need tosave up some to completely break apart your items. Once a furniture item is deconstructed, you’llget back all the materials it cost to make the itemin the first place.
If you spent Dreamlight to make the item, you won’t get that back.
To complete the quest for the Cheshire Cat,deconstruct any furniture item and collect it.Show it to the Cheshire Cat to complete the quest andearn additional friendship pointswith him.
