Crafting is a big part ofRune Factorygames - you’ll need to outfit your main character and their allies, sell things to make money, and even simply craft things to complete quests. Early on in the game, a particularly annoying quest to receive is one that asks you to craft a Steel Sword.
It’ll be one of the first things you can’t craft immediately, requiring that you go find the recipe, and it’s made even more frustrating by the fact that aSteel Swordis a pretty big improvement on the first weapons you have access to.
Where To Get The Steel Sword Recipe
The Steel Sword recipe is gained from aShrine found in the Spring Region. Specifically, it is found across the bridge to theeast of the Abandoned Shrineand then slightly to thenorth, on the edge of a large blighted area.
Like the Frog Statues, you’ll only need tointeract with Shrinesto unlock the recipes they hold.
How To Craft A Steel Sword
You’ll need to have a Blacksmith in one of your villages to be able to craft a Steel Sword, and one that is staffed by a villager with the Journeyman Smith quality.
To craft a Steel Sword, you’ll needfive Ironandone Vanadinite Fragment.
If you have just accepted the quest to craft this sword, however, these materials should have been supplied to you, and your only task is to unlock the recipe.
