Zebra Bananza: Liftoff Lopeis a speed challenge that you’ll find on the eleventh layer ofDonkey Kong Bananza, appropriately enough theRacing Layer. You needthe zebra powerupto complete it, but it’s impossible to progress this far without it, so it’s all good.
The challenge asks you torun around a course in 60 seconds, with a Bananadium Gem awarded for successful completion. However, the othertwo Bananadium Gems require something more specific, and that’s we’re this guide comes in. How To Complete Zebra Bananza: Liftoff Lope Quickly
To get thesecond Bananadium Gem, you need to complete the challenge with20 seconds left on the clock, soin 40 secondsrather than the usual 60. This is not the first time we’ve come across one of these challenges for a bonus Bananadium Gem, and the same rules apply - while speed helps,knowing the strategy is better.
Though the course snakes around the outside of the arena, it is possible toburst through the middle, which is how you save time. Thosepurple sharks leave rainbow roadsbehind them when you hit them (say that again?), and on these you cancut out a lot of the track.
For the first three, it’s literally straightforward.Rush right up to them, punch, and ride the road in a straight line. After this, thenext three criss cross the arena. Here, it’s best totake a second to line upyour punch thando it as fast as you can, as you lose way more time going off track than you do aiming properly.
You can also holdZL to charge dashrightat the start, but this should only beused for the first shark. After that, there’snot enough road and your momentumwill carry you over the edge.
Once you make it all the way to the end with 20 seconds left, the second Bananadium Gem will appear.
How To Find The Hidden Bananadium Gem In Zebra Bananza: Liftoff Lope
Speed will only get you so far, however. It doesn’t matter how fast you complete the course for thisfinal Bananadium Gem. Instead, you’ll find that oneright by the finish line.
When you’re on the final rainbow road (ahh they said the thing!),grab a chunk of Liftoff Oreandfly to the right. On top of this podium, unfortunately not all covered with cheese, you’ll find the poor third Bananadium Gem.
