How To Free Excalibur

Head to theHorns of the Southand enter the keep tofind Exabilur encased in stone, right in front of the Captain’s Quarters. If you touch the blade,you’ll start losing HPimmediately–and fast. This dangerous blade willsap your strength and kill youif you aren’t prepared.

Attempting to touch the sword before you’re worthy results in instant death.

You’ll need toprogress through the Shadows of the Horns questto learn the secret of the sword, thenbe deemed worthyby the lord of the sea. Only then will you have achance to retrieve Excalibur, but it will still be a challenge.

However, you can get the better of this blade if youprepare ahead of time. Whether youlevel yourself up to have more HPso you can wait out the timer that slowly draws the sword or youstock up on health potions, here are the best ways to retrieve Excalibur from the stone:
